In December 2016, colleagues Liz and Pawel met in person at their work’s Christmas party. Bonding over their mutual love of vodka, they spent the night dancing and drinking together. The following Friday, they met again for their first date in the bustling heart of Manchester city centre. Pawel arrived with a bottle of Peach and Mint moonshine and Liz knew instantly he was the one for her. Their shared passion for vodka only grew stronger over the years, from a boozy weekend in Warsaw with the "Poland 8," where they sampled the finest flavored vodkas the city had to offer, to a vodka tasting experience in preparation for their wedding. They were both drawn to the deep connection vodka has in Polish wedding traditions. After years of contemplating the idea, they finally decided to take the leap and pursue their dream of obtaining a license. And so, Urban Spirit was born - a business rooted in their first date in Manchester and their love of high - quality vodka.
